Go Beyond Beauty Achievement Program

ISN invites you to go even further by becoming a member of its achievement program. Established in 2018 with input from partners and current Go Beyond Beauty participants, the expanded programming allows for a variety of new opportunities. With the introduction of fee-based survey work, planting recommendations, and educational trainings, ISN will be better supported to help YOU with the management of high-priority invasive ornamental species.

*Go Beyond Beauty will still remain, at a basic level, free to anyone who wishes to participate. By committing to not use or sell invasive species, participants are still eligible for outreach materials, signage, and public recognition/promotion.

If you are an existing participant, please contact Go Beyond Beauty Specialist, Shelly Stusick, for more information. Interested businesses and individuals who are not yet a part of the program, please register here.

Become a CHAMPION of
Go Beyond Beauty...

...by removing 2nd Tier invasive species from sale and use!

Businesses and individuals that commit to not selling and using invasive species beyond those on the high-priority list will receive additional recognition.  You will be listed separately in publicity and have your own "shout-out" slide during public presentations.

Why care about 2nd tier species? Many invasive species are not considered "high priority" but can still wreak havoc on the environment if they are grown in certain locations. Plants such as Norway maple, butterfly bush, sweet woodruff, and periwinkle (myrtle), when planted in the wrong place, can escape into nearby natural areas and become
difficult to manage.

2nd Tier Plant List
(Plants to be considered are listed on pages
2 and 3 of the above list)
