Awareness Species Awareness species are the regional plants that are not considered to be "Top 12" or "Early Detection" but can still be prevalent and have a negative impact on the environment. While ISN cannot often prioritize grant funding toward control of these species, we want to empower landowners and groups to manage these plants through education and technical assistance.
For clarification, species have been grouped by the habitat in which they are most likely to be identified. Click on a habitat type to be directed to a list of invasive plants that you may identify in that particular landscape. |
